Reiki is a Japanese healing method that helps those who are healed with it to experience spiritual harmony and peaceful relief from too much stress. Though sometimes Reiki is mistaken as simple, there are, however, actually 3 different stages in this healing practice. It will take time and plenty of practice with Reiki and the Reiki healer’s own spirituality to advance through the stages. But once you do, it’s worth it.
Those who practice Reiki work to alter their normal perception of reality and the world around them. They strive to surpass limitations of what is considered normal, and discover their real potential as apart of the human race. This kind of enlightenment is the doorway to the Reiki Healer’s ultimate goal, which is to become purity and light.
This is what they aim to achieve on the 3rd and final stage of the Reiki practice. They want to achieve Satori. There is no easy way to do this, and it may even take you years to reach this kind of enlightenment. It will require devotion to the art and knowledge of how to use its spiritual energy.
When you begin to practice Reiki, you must enter, not believing, but knowing that you and all of your fellow practitioners ARE Reiki. As Reiki is the use of spiritual energy, you must realize that the energy is you as well. You can’t become a master of Reiki if you enter into the practice without realizing the role you play in it. The energy doesn’t just come from you, it IS you. This understanding is necessary to further yourself in the art of Reiki. Without it, your abilities will be as limited as your belief in them.
Also, keep in mind that Reiki is to aid the soul, and by relation, the mind and body. No ill uses should ever be attempted with Reiki. Reiki is about purifying and removing negative holds over a person. Do not ever attempt to pervert its use.
When you fulfill the final stage and reach true enlightenment as the Great Bright Light (the literal translation of Mantra), you will truly find yourself at one with Reiki. You are no longer a practitioner, you are a master.
